Welcome to The Skin Method. By booking or receiving services from us, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, we kindly ask that you refrain from using our services.

2. Services Provided

The Skin Method offers a range of professional aesthetic services, including but not limited to: skincare treatments, facials, brow and lash services, massage therapy, and advanced skin treatments. All services are provided by licensed professionals in accordance with Maine state regulations. We aim to deliver high-quality care tailored to your individual needs.

3. Appointments

Scheduling

Appointments can be booked online, by phone, or in person. We encourage scheduling in advance to secure your preferred time and provider.

Cancellations

• A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule.

• Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the scheduled service price.

• Failure to attend your appointment without notice (“no-show”) may result in a 100% charge and/or restrictions on future bookings.

Late Arrivals

Please plan to arrive on time. If you are late, your service may be shortened to respect the schedule of other clients, and the full fee will still apply.

4. Payments

Fees

Service prices are listed on our website and are subject to change without notice. All prices are in U.S. Dollars.

Payment Methods

We accept most major credit/debit cards and cash. Payment is due at the time of service.

Refunds

All sales are final once services have been rendered. If you are unsatisfied with your experience, please contact us within 7 days so we may work toward a resolution. Retail product returns may be accepted in unopened/unused condition within 14 days of purchase, subject to management approval.

5. Health & Safety

Consultation

Before your first appointment, you may be required to complete a health intake and consent form. Please provide accurate, up-to-date information so that we can safely tailor treatments.

Medical Conditions

Certain treatments may not be suitable if you have specific medical conditions, are pregnant, or have allergies/sensitivities. Please consult with your healthcare provider as needed and notify us before your service.

Sanitation

We follow strict hygiene and sanitation practices in compliance with Maine state requirements to ensure a safe, clean, and professional environment.

6. Privacy

Your personal information is collected, used, and stored in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Maine and federal laws. We use this information solely to provide services, manage appointments, and improve client care. Treatment records are securely maintained, and you may request access or corrections at any time.

7. Liability

Client Responsibility

By receiving services, you acknowledge that results vary based on individual factors and that it is your responsibility to disclose all relevant health information.

Limitations of Liability

The Skin Method and its staff are not responsible for adverse reactions or outcomes when proper information has not been disclosed or when post-treatment instructions are not followed.

Claims

Any service-related concerns must be brought to our attention within 7 days of treatment. We will make reasonable efforts to address and resolve concerns.

8. Modifications

The Skin Method reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Updates will be posted on our website and will take effect immediately. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
